Job summary

Whole Foods Market, Inc. is seeking team members for the Bakery area to support receiving, prep, display, and sales. You will help break down deliveries, stock shelves, and assist with merchandising while upholding WFM standards and health rules.

Team Members provide courteous, efficient service, engage with customers, and may perform duties across related roles as needed. Flexibility for schedule and on-floor presence is required; safety and quality are emphasized throughout.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.

Responsibilities

• Ensures a fresh and appealing display by keeping cases and shelves clean and well stocked by front-facing, checking codes, rotating and removing out-of-date products.
• Stocks and cleans shelves, bins, and display areas.
• Monitors and prevents spoilage and communicates waste to buyers, Team Leaders, and shift supervisor.
• Maintains back stock in good order.
• Assists with sampling program, keeping sample areas full, clean and appealing.
• Assists with periodic inventory checks.
• Provides excellent customer service, addresses needs of customers in a timely and effective manner and models suggestive selling techniques.
