Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company is hiring for a bakery production role in our store bakery. You will follow recipes, prepare cakes, donuts, cookies and other products, and ensure proper packaging, labeling, and display with a customer‑minded service approach.

Responsibilities include operating ovens and mixers, measuring ingredients, and maintaining safety standards while supporting sales and product presentation. Flexibility for nights and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Food handler certification required.
• Six months of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Able to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Follows recipes to prepare cakes, donuts, cookies, and other bakery products.
• Prepares ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, shaping, and scoring.
• Operates commercial baking equipment (ovens, mixers, dough proofers).
• Completes production list and handles special order requests, packaging and labeling.
