Job summary

Whole Foods Market IP. L.P. is seeking a Bakery Team Member to assist with scheduling, supervision of Team Members, and day-to-day bakery operations in Kahului, Hawaii.

The role emphasizes excellent customer service, proper health and safety practices, and maintaining displays to attract customers. The position involves training new staff, managing stock levels, and supporting a high-performance bakery team under the Bakery Team Leader and Associate Team Leader.

Qualifications

• Experience in bakery environments is required or preferred.
• Strong knowledge of bakery procedures and safety policies.
• Experience training or supervising Team Members is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and delegates tasks to Bakery Team Members.
• Trains Team Members with learning checklists and materials.
• Keeps cases and shelves clean, well stocked, rotated.
• Opens and closes department per procedures.
• Ensures breaks are taken.
• Communicates concerns to Team Leader and Associate Team Leader.
• Sets and achieves high standards of retail execution.
• Fosters teamwork and morale.
• Monitors customer flow and assists to delight customers.
• Trains, mentors, motivates, and counsels Team Members.
• Provides performance evaluations.
• Models WFM vision and goals.
