Job summary

The GIANT Company is seeking candidates for store positions in Harrisburg, PA. This role involves reviewing schedules, supervisory duties, baking and stocking goods, labeling and packaging, and maintaining clean, safe store conditions.

Excellent attendance and safety mindset are essential. Authorized work in the U.S., 1 year of experience or training preferred, and forklift training may be required. This is an entry to mid-level store operations role with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must have valid identification.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate to complete duties and follow policies.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must complete the company introductory (probationary) period of 60 days.
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements.
• Must be able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools for this job.
• Must perform all job functions safely.
• Must meet the company performance standards including regular attendance.
• Must wear properly assigned clothes and shoes for this job.
• 1 year of work experience or technical training preferred.
• Must complete the in-house forklift-training program.

Responsibilities

• Review the work schedule at the start of the shift and prepare required PPE and supplies.
• Enter orders, schedule work, supervise and train team members, and stock items.
• Assemble ingredients, bake goods, and ensure items are ready for display.
• Package, label, and wrap baked goods; print labels and maintain displays.
• Clean and sanitize all surfaces, tools, equipment, displays, floors, and counters.
