Job summary

The GIANT Company in Middletown, PA is seeking a team member for a busy store environment. You will review daily schedules, prepare for duties, stock items, bake goods, package products, and keep display cases clean and stocked. You’ll also adjust prices and ensure product dates are correct.

Ideal candidates are 18+, authorized to work in the U.S., able to read and follow safety rules, and willing to complete a 60‑day probation. Forklift training may be required and adherence to PPE is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must have valid identification.
• Must read, write, and communicate to complete duties and follow policies.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must complete the 60-day probationary period.
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements and base scores for this position.
• Must be able to use or learn the equipment and tools used to perform this job.
• Must perform all job functions safely.
• Must meet performance standards including regular attendance.
• Must wear approved clothes and shoes for this job.
• 1 year of work experience or technical training preferred.
• Must complete in-house forklift-training program.

Responsibilities

• Review the work schedule at the start of shift, prepare PPE, and set up duties.
• Enter orders, schedule work, supervise/train team members, stock items, check dates, adjust pricing, and perform department tasks.
• Assemble and bake goods, wrap and label, and place in displays.
• Package, label, and maintain display cases; ensure freshness of products.
• Clean and sanitize all work surfaces, tools, equipment, display cases, floors, and counters.
