Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company is seeking a Bakery Associate to ensure baked goods are prepared and displayed per company standards. You will work with bakery staff to promote department sales and superior customer service while supporting profitability goals.

Responsibilities include inventory management, assisting with production, decorating and merchandising, and upholding food safety and quality standards in a fast-paced retail bakery environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, plus 1+ year related experience or equivalent.
• Must be 18+ years old; 21+ to drive per policy.
• Food Handler certification required; Manager Food Safety certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Train and develop partners; schedule, plan, assign and direct work.
• Review historical data on sales, ads and promotions.
• Co-manage inventory to maintain in-stock levels.
• Review profit/loss, sales, shrink and labor data with manager.
