Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in business related or food service-related field desirable.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in management in retail/restaurant/supermarket environment.
• Previous decorating experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promotes excellent customer relations and resolves issues promptly.
• Takes customer orders and decorates finished products.
• Decorates cakes and bakery products following recipes and designs.
• Assists Bakery Manager in day-to-day bakery operations and training.
• Oversees inventories and weekly sales reports to ensure accuracy.
• Schedules bakery associates and participates in training and performance rewards.
• Implements merchandising plans and ensures correct pricing and production amounts.
• Checks deliveries and ensures freshness and proper restocking.
• Controls department expenses and labor costs to maximize profits.
• Keeps bakery department well stocked and responsive to customer demand.
