Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to keep bakery equipment running smoothly and safely across different lines. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose mechanical issues, and work with SAP to manage parts and data.

Strong technical skills and the ability to rotate tasks across areas are essential. The role requires climbing ladders and lifting up to 50 pounds, with a starting hourly salary of $20.94+.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical/Trade School certification or diploma a plus.
• 1+ years of experience as a technician.
• Experience in HVAC, welding, electrical, industrial equipment, automotive repairs, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate safe work habits, proper tool selection and usage, general shop practices, maintenance tasks, and basic equipment knowledge.
• Perform lubrication and preventive maintenance on specified equipment.
• Identify wear and troubleshoot/replace mechanical drive and conveyor components.
• Use SAP for parts checkout, reporting, and data entry.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and comply with company policies.
