Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. is seeking Industrial Maintenance Technicians to ensure optimal efficiency by performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance with a focus on safety and quality standards.

The role includes rotating assignments across various bakery areas and requires climbing ladders and lifting up to 50 pounds. Ideal candidates have strong mechanical and electrical skills, experience with welding and metal fabrication, and familiarity with SAP for parts checkout and data entry.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus vocational/technical training or equivalent work experience in electronics/electrical technology and machine maintenance.
• Experience with electrical welding, gas welding, cutting, soldering, pipe fittings, and metal fabrication ( milling and lathe ).
• Ability to identify mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components and perform preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate safe work habits, proper tool selection and usage, general shop practices, maintenance tasks, and knowledge of critical equipment components.
• Identify and inspect mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components and rebuild drive components such as clutches and brakes.
• Verify and correct mechanical timing and perform proper lubrication.
• Identify wear and troubleshoot and replace drive and conveyor components.
• Use SAP for parts checkout, reporting, and data entry.
