Job summary

ShopRite seeks a Bakery Clerk to support the Bakery Manager in daily operations, pricing, stocking and rotating merchandise, and to maintain a neat, visually appealing department for customers.

This role focuses on delivering a great customer experience, following safety and QA standards, and collaborating with the team to ensure accurate signage, product rotation, and proper handling of food. Flexibility for shifts and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing and speaking English required.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Regularly lift 25 lbs and occasionally 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures.
• Interact with customers in a friendly, helpful manner.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe work environment.
• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Rotate product to ensure freshness and proper signage.
• Assist Bakery Manager with pricing, stocking and rotation.
• Follow QA and sanitation standards and safety guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
