Job summary

BJ's Wholesale Club is hiring for a Bakery Team Member to support daily bakery operations, including proofing and baking, packaging, labeling, and maintaining product freshness. You’ll follow production charts, assist customers, and help keep the bakery clean and compliant with safety standards.

Ideal candidates bring bakery or customer service experience, excellent teamwork, and a strong commitment to delivering quality products to members.

Qualifications

• Experience in bakery or customer service preferred.
• Knowledge of bakery products preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Proofs and bakes unfinished bakery goods following each item's product handling information.
• Unpacks bakery goods from the freezer and displays amounts based on bakery production charts.
• Packages freshly baked goods and labels products; performs price checks when necessary.
• Rotates and stores bakery products per safety and freshness policies.
• Cleans and sanitizes equipment, displays, and surfaces in the bakery.
• Answers questions and takes special orders from customers.
