Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a Bakery Team Member to support daily bakery operations in our club. You will proof and bake unfinished bakery goods, follow handling information, and help maintain safety and cleanliness in the bakery department.

Responsibilities include stocking, labeling, and pricing bakery items, assisting members, and ensuring quality and freshness of all products. Prior bakery or customer service experience is preferred, and applicants must be 18 years or older.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a bakery or customer service oriented environment preferred.
• Knowledge of bakery products preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Proofs and bakes unfinished bakery goods following each item’s product handling information.
• Unpacks bakery goods from the freezer and displays proper amounts per production chart.
• Packages freshly baked goods including cookies, pastries, breads and cakes.
• Rotates and stores bakery products following food safety and freshness policies.
• Generates labels and price tickets and ensures items are properly priced.
• Cleans and sanitizes equipment, display fixtures, and surfaces in the bakery.
