Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a friendly bakery team member who will proof and bake products, restock displays, and help maintain a clean and safe bakery area. You will assist customers, respond to questions, and ensure quality products for daily sales while working as part of a fast-paced team in a club environment.

The role emphasizes accuracy in pricing and labeling, adherence to health and safety guidelines, and strong teamwork to deliver consistent, high-quality bakery items to members.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a bakery or customer service oriented environment preferred.
• Knowledge of bakery products preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Proofs and bakes unfinished bakery goods following product handling information.
• Unpacks bakery goods from the freezer and displays amounts based on production chart recommendations.
• Maintains cleaning and safety standards in the bakery department.
• Assembles, labels, and prices bakery items and helps with stock and display.
• Performs other duties as assigned and supports team policies and standards.
