Albertsons Companies Inc. bakery is seeking a detail‑oriented Baker to produce breads, pastries, cakes, and desserts from established recipes, ensuring consistent quality for customers.

You will measure, mix, shape, bake, and decorate items, keep a clean and safe workspace, rotate ingredients, and present full, appealing cases. You’ll also assist customers and handle special orders in a fast-paced bakery environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service oriented and friendly demeanor required.
• Experience in baking breads, pastries, and desserts.
• Ability to follow recipes and maintain quality and presentation.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation.
• Ability to work with others to run bakery operations.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with changing production needs.
• Ability to safely operate standard bakery equipment (mixers, ovens).
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift items.

Responsibilities

• Prepare breads, pastries, and desserts per recipes.
• Measure, mix, shape, and bake products; decorate as needed.
• Maintain clean, sanitized work area and proper labeling/rotation of ingredients.
• Display products in full, appealing cases and restock as needed.
• Collaborate with bakery team to plan daily production.
• Assist customers with product questions and special orders.
