Job summary

Albertsons Companies bakery is seeking a friendly, detail‑oriented Baker to prepare breads, pastries, cakes and desserts using established recipes. You’ll measure, mix, shape and bake products, decorate cakes, and help keep cases full and visually appealing for customers.

You’ll interact with shoppers, answer questions, take special orders and work with the bakery team to plan daily production. The role requires early mornings, weekends, and a commitment to quality and consistency.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Prior baking or food production experience preferred
• Availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Prepare breads, pastries, cakes, and desserts using established recipes and production methods
• Measure, mix, shape, and bake products
• Decorate items such as cakes and specialty desserts
• Organize and maintain a clean, safe work area
• Rotate and label ingredients
• Ensure products are displayed in full, well-stocked, and visually appealing cases
• Partner with bakery team to plan daily production needs
• Assist customers with product questions and take special orders
