The role requires operating ovens, stocking displays, and maintaining sanitation per safety programs. Flexible scheduling and teamwork are essential in a fast-paced retail bakery environment.

Qualifications

• Friendly, customer-focused attitude with leadership skills.
• Knowledge of baking methods and ingredients (Mexican, Central American, and American pastries).
• Experience using bakery equipment and ovens.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and mentor others.
• Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Basic understanding of English language.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Greet customers with a smile and assist with bakery orders in-store or by phone.
• Baking & Preparation: Prepare doughs, batters, and mixtures; monitor oven temperatures for quality.
• Merchandising: Stock and rotate baked goods and maintain attractive displays.
• Food Safety: Follow safety programs and health code regulations.
• Teamwork: Support coworkers and maintain a clean department environment.
• Operations: Pack, weigh, and price merchandise; transport to storage areas.
• Other Duties: Clean equipment and perform additional tasks as assigned.
