Your role includes assisting customers, preparing doughs, and maintaining fresh displays in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has experience with bakery equipment and a basic understanding of English, with flexibility to work afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Friendly, customer-focused attitude and able to lead.
• Knowledge of baking methods for Mexican, Central American, and American pastries.
• Experience using bakery equipment, ovens, and tools.
• Basic computer and math skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with bakery and cake orders in-store or by phone.
• Prepare doughs, batters, and mixtures; monitor oven temps for quality.
• Stock and rotate baked goods; maintain attractive displays and promote sales.
• Follow Bakery Safety Program and sanitation standards.
• Assist coworkers, report unsafe acts, and keep the department organized.
• Pack, weigh, and price merchandise; minimize waste; transport to storage areas.
• Clean equipment and work areas; perform additional tasks as assigned.
