Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a friendly bakery associate to carry out daily tasks in our bakery. You’ll proof and bake goods, assist customers, and help keep displays fresh and inviting.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a bakery or customer service oriented environment preferred.
• Knowledge of bakery products preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Answers questions and recommends bakery items. Answers Member calls and takes special orders.
• Proofs and bakes unfinished bakery goods using ovens and production charts for display needs.
• Packages freshly baked goods and displays proper amounts; rotates and stores bakery products following safety policies.
• Maintains cleaning and safety standards in the bakery and operates equipment safely.
• Performs other duties as assigned; regular, predictable attendance is essential.
