Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is hiring a Bakery Team Member to join our fast-paced bakery department. You will proof and bake goods, prepare displays, and maintain safety and cleanliness standards while delivering friendly service to our members.

The role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and adherence to production charts. Experience in bakery or customer service is preferred, and you must be 18 or older. Weekly pay and comprehensive benefits are offered to eligible team members.

Qualifications

• Experience in bakery or customer service preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Answers questions and recommends bakery items.
• Answers Member calls and takes special orders.
• Proofs and bakes all unfinished bakery goods following item-specific handling information.
• Uses bakery production charts as a guide for production and display needs.
• Gathers products for the next business day.
• Packages freshly baked goods including cookies, pastries, muffins, rolls, breads, pies and cakes.
• Rotates and stores bakery products following proper work methods on food safety and freshness.
