Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. is hiring for a Bakery Associate to proof and bake goods, unpack shipments, and maintain freshness and display standards in the bakery department. You will follow production charts, assist members with questions, and ensure safe handling and clean work areas.

Qualified candidates will have bakery or customer service experience, knowledge of bakery products, and must be 18 years or older. This on-site position offers weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

• Knowledge of bakery products preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Proofs and bakes unfinished bakery goods following product handling information.
• Unpacks bakery goods from the freezer and displays according to production charts.
• Gathers products for the next business day and decorates special orders or case product.
• Rotates and stores bakery items following safety and quality policies.
• Receives, inspects, and stores bakery shipments; ensures items are fresh and properly labeled.
