Job summary

Reiser & Company, a global supplier of bakery equipment, seeks a Technical Bakery Sales Specialist for the East Coast region. The role combines remote work with heavy weekly travel to customers’ plants and headquarters, from New York to Maine, to install equipment and support the sales team.

You will engage with customers on dough formulation, product development, and process improvements, building strong relationships across shop floors and executive offices while supporting key accounts.

Qualifications

• Recent experience as a baker or in bakery product R&D (industrial scale).
• Scratch baking experience and dough formulation knowledge.
• Understanding bakery manufacturing and a passion for the industry.
• Ability to learn machinery used in bakery environments.

Responsibilities

• Travel 60–80% (overnight) weekly to East Coast bakery plants and headquarters.
• Travel with and support sales staff, helping to close opportunities with customers.
• Collaborate on product development/R+D with existing and future customers.
• Coordinate with Bakery Technicians to install machinery and gather feedback for improvements.
• Support National Accounts during sales activities as identified by leadership.
