Job summary

Insomnia Cookies is seeking a Shift Leader to oversee bakery operations and lead the Cookie Crew to deliver warm, delicious cookies and a standout guest experience.

You will coach teammates, delegate tasks, and ensure high standards of quality and safety while managing registers and daily deposits. Evening and weekend shifts are common in our fast-paced environment, offering growth among one of the country’s fastest-growing bakery brands.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in retail, restaurant, hospitality, or another customer-focused environment.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to stand for long periods and handle fast-paced work.

Responsibilities

• Lead bakery operations during each shift, ensuring quality and guest satisfaction.
• Coach and motivate Cookie Crew members, providing direction and feedback.
• Prioritize and delegate tasks to maintain smooth operations.
• Maintain standards for quality, food safety, cleanliness and speed of service.
• Handle cash management, register accountability, and deposits.
• Communicate updates with store leadership to optimize performance.
• Be flexible to jump in where needed to support the team.
