Job summary

Insomnia Cookies, LLC in San Antonio, TX is opening a new store this Spring and seeks Shift Leaders to join the opening team. This role makes you the captain on a day or night shift—overseeing operations, leading the cookie crew, and ensuring great customer service in a fast-paced bakery environment.

You will mentor teammates, manage tasks, maintain safety and quality, and contribute to a fun and productive night shift.

Qualifications

At least 1 year of customer service experience.
Point of Sale systems experience.
Outstanding communication, time management, and people skills.
Outgoing, friendly, patient demeanor.
Detail focused and results-oriented.
Ability to lead by example and motivate others.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Legally eligible to work in the United States.
Must be 18 years or older to be employed.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service and high-quality products to guests in our bakeries.
Support store leadership by maintaining operations during your shift and coaching team members.
Prioritize and delegate tasks for baking, cashiering, packaging and cleaning while leading the cookie crew.
Support and work alongside the Cookie Crew.
Ensure a safe, clean working environment and adhere to safe food handling practices.
Manage cash handling and deposits.
