Insomniacookies in Starkville, MS is seeking a Shift Leader to captain bakery operations on day or night shifts. You will lead by example, manage baking, cashiering, packaging, and customer service to ensure a memorable guest experience.

You will support store leadership, monitor production efficiency, train teammates, and uphold safety and food-handling standards while building a fun, fast-paced environment with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of customer-service experience.
• Experience with Point of Sale systems.
• Excellent communication, time management and people skills.
• Outgoing, friendly, patient and team-oriented.
• Detail-oriented and results-driven.
• Able to lead by example and motivate others.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• US work authorization; 18+ years old.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and quality products to all guests throughout their experience in the bakery.
• Support store leadership by maintaining operations during shift, communicating pertinent information, monitoring production efficiency, and coaching team members.
• Prioritize and delegate baking, cashiering, packaging, and cleaning while leading the cookie crew team.
• Support and work alongside the Cookie Crew.
• Provide a safe, clean working environment for guests and staff and adhere to safe food-handling practices.
• Manage cash handling and deposits.
