Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Phoenix seeks a Team Member to support customer service, stocking, and sanitation. You will interact with customers, maintain product quality, and follow Standard Operating Procedures while upholding WFM core values.

This role involves lifting up to 50 pounds, standing most of the day, flexible scheduling including nights and weekends, and participation in required trainings. No prior retail experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Weighs, prices, and packages customer orders.
• Understands venue menus, stays abreast of specials, menu changes, etc.
• Follows cash handling procedures related to the service venues.
• Monitors product quality and freshness and ensures proper product rotation.
• Completes product spoilage and transfer records as needed.
• Arrives to work station on time, appropriately groomed, dressed and ready to work.
• Provides excellent customer service, addresses needs of customers and models suggestive selling.
• Maximizes sales potential through proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising.
• Follows health, sanitation, and safety procedures; maintains clean stores.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties and ensures pricing accuracy.
• Reports safety hazards and participates in team training.
