Whole Foods Market is seeking a friendly, customer-focused team member for the Bakery department. You will stock shelves, maintain displays, assist with sample programs, and help keep the store clean and organized while upholding WFM standards.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, answering questions, facing product, and ensuring accuracy of signs and pricing. Flexible schedule required; prior retail experience is not necessary. Physical ability to lift 50 pounds is required.

Responsabilités

• Ensures a fresh and appealing display by keeping cases and shelves clean and well stocked.
• Stocks and cleans shelves, bins, and display areas.
• Monitors and prevents spoilage and communicates waste to buyers and leads.
• Maintains back stock in good order.
• Assists with sampling program, keeping sample areas full and appealing.
• Assists with periodic inventory checks.
• Arrives on time, groomed, and ready to work; attends trainings and meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service and models suggestive selling techniques; answers phones and pages promptly.
• Maximizes sales potential through proper prep, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising.
• Follows procedures including health, sanitation, and safety standards.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary working/shopping environment; adheres to safety standards.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; ensures pricing signs are accurate.
• Reports safety hazards and violations immediately.
• Performs other duties as assigned by leadership.
