Job summary

Sara Lee Frozen Bakery in Tarboro, NC is seeking a Production Team Member to support high-volume bakery operations. You will help prepare, clean, and operate equipment, maintain safety standards, and work with a team to keep the line running efficiently.

This role requires physical stamina, the ability to follow instructions, and willingness to work 8–12 hour shifts in a wet, hot or cold production environment. Prior food manufacturing experience is preferred, and forklift experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Prior work experience in food manufacturing preferred.
• Must be willing to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Must be willing to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be willing to work 8–12 hour shifts including standing, walking, and bending.
• Must be willing to work in wet, hot, and cold environments.
• Personal protective equipment provided (PPE) and safety procedures followed.

Responsibilities

• Clean equipment and work areas to prevent contamination.
• Disassemble and reassemble pumps, pipes and equipment as needed.
• Perform preflight checks on production equipment.
• Lubricate and maintain production equipment.
• Complete downtime and crew paperwork as required.
• Adhere to company policies and safety standards.
