Job summary

Sara Lee Frozen Bakery in Tarboro, NC is hiring a Sanitor for the 3rd shift. This full-time role supports our production line by keeping equipment and work areas clean to prevent contamination.

You’ll preflight equipment, operate basic tools, and follow safety and sanitation protocols. Lift up to 50 lbs, wear PPE, and join a team focused on efficiency and quality. Training provided for equipment operation.

Qualifications

• Prior work experience in food manufacturing preferred.
• Must be willing to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must wear PPE and follow safety guidelines.
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Able to work 8–12 hour shifts in hot, wet and cold environments.
• Willing to be trained to operate motorized equipment.

Responsibilities

• Cleans equipment and work areas to prevent contamination.
• Disassembles and reassembles pumps and pipes for cleaning.
• Preflights equipment prior to production use.
• Lubricates production equipment as required.
• Keeps line ready and minimizes downtime.
• Completes paperwork such as crew sheets and downtime reports.
• Adheres to SLFB policies, GMPs and safety standards.
• Other duties may be required or assigned.
