Job summary

Sara Lee Frozen Bakery in Tarboro, NC seeks a Team Member to assist in production, preparation, and packaging. Duties include lifting pans, pushing racks, placing product on moving conveyors, and completing paperwork such as crew sheets and downtime reports.

Employees rotate across areas to cover shifts and keep the line running efficiently. This role requires safety PPE, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and tolerance for cold and hot environments.

Qualifications

• Team Member must follow verbal and written instructions.
• Must be willing to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must work in a production environment requiring PPE (safety glasses, hair/beard net, hearing protection, rubber boots with safety toe).
• Must climb up and down stairs to enter/exit production area.
• Walks over boot scrubbers prior to entering work areas.
• Must withstand cold and hot environments.
• Must work 8–12 hour shifts with standing, walking, reaching over conveyors, loading pans, pushing racks and lifting pans and product.
• Cross training on other machines/areas may be required.

Responsibilities

• Team Member assists in all phases of production, preparation, and packaging of the product.
• Completes paperwork such as crew sheets, downtime reports, etc.
• Ensures line is ready and downtime is minimized.
• Works with others as a team to complete tasks efficiently.
