Job summary

Weis Markets, Inc. is seeking a Bakery Associate to help stock the bakery department, greet customers, and fulfill special orders. You will assist in maintaining fresh product displays and ensuring accurate signage while following health and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities include taking orders, building displays, aiding in production, and coordinating with coworkers to ensure smooth department operations. No prior experience required; all training provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or in progress.
• No prior retail bakery experience required.

Responsibilities

• Keep bakery stocked and appealing with fresh products.
• Assist customers with orders and inquiries in a friendly manner.
• Set up special-order tables during peak hours.
• Ensure items are priced correctly with signage.
• Assist with baking or prep tasks as needed.
• Maintain sanitation per store guidelines and OSHA requirements.
• Assist with receiving and stocking deliveries when trained.
• Support shrink control and report discrepancies to management.
• Collaborate with teammates to keep department running smoothly.
• Wear company PPE as required.
