Job summary

Weis Markets is seeking a Bakery Associate in Maryland to keep the bakery stocked, greet customers, offer product suggestions, and assist with special orders during peak hours.

You will ensure fresh, properly priced merchandise, assist with bread and pastry production, follow sanitation and OSHA rules, and use PPE as required. High school diploma or GED and no prior experience required; hourly pay starts at $15 and can rise to $22.

Qualifications

• Completed or working towards a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED). No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Keeps bakery department well stocked and appealing; greets customers and offers product suggestions.
• Assists with special-order tables during peak hours and sets bakery cases/display.
• Ensures merchandise is fresh and properly priced with correct signage; handles near-expiry items per procedures.
• Assists in production of breads and pastries; adheres to production logs and recipes.
• Maintains sanitation; follows cleaning schedules and OSHA requirements; uses PPE as required.
