Responsibilities

• Keeps bakery department stocked and appealing to meet customer demand.
• Smiles and greets customers, makes suggestions, answers questions about products.
• Helps resolve customer concerns in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Takes customer orders over the phone or in person with a pleasant attitude.
• Determines customer needs for size, flavor, and appearance.
• Sets up special-order tables during peak hours and shopping days.
• Sets bakery cases and builds displays as needed.
• May assist with production of breads, pastries and other baked goods.
• Adheres to production logs and recipes; follows sanitation and health guidelines.
• Disposes of trash and maintains clean work areas.
