Job summary

Bethel Bakery in North Strabane, PA is seeking a friendly Retail Shift Lead to help guests, lead by example, and create a welcoming experience for every visitor. You’ll open and close the bakery, handle cash, and train or direct Retail Associates during your shift.

With at least 1 year in retail or customer service, you’ll master our products, pricing, packaging, and seasonal offerings while maintaining clean displays and top-notch service.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of retail or customer service experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the bakery and complete required security procedures.
• Handle cash and operate the POS system accurately.
• Provide friendly, prompt, and professional customer service.
• Develop strong knowledge of our products, pricing, packaging, and seasonal offerings.
• Process customer purchases and orders.
• Write messages on cakes with icing (we will train you!)
• Assign tasks and provide direction to Retail Associates during your shift.
• Maintain well-stocked, clean, and appealing bakery displays.
• Support daily storefront operations and communicate needs to management.
• Help ensure company customer service, food safety, and operational standards are followed.
