Job summary

Bimbo Bakeries USA is seeking a Quality Food Safety Department Leader to drive world-class practices, empower Team Leaders, and achieve safety, quality and cost goals. You will oversee analytics, coaching, and cross-functional collaboration to elevate our bakery operations.

This role emphasizes strong leadership, adherence to food safety standards, and the ability to implement continuous improvement programs across production teams and routes.

Qualifications

• Minimum BS in Food Science or related major required.
• 5-7 years of bakery/food manufacturing operations management experience.
• 3+ years in Food Safety, Sanitation, and QA PCQI qualifications/certifications.

Responsibilities

• Promote the quality and food safety mission with the business leadership through systems.
• Oversee the QFS department budget, forecasting and annual planning.
• Lead the growth and development of Team Leaders and Associates.
• Build a culture valuing people, integrity, and continuous improvement.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to drive improvements in safety, quality, service and cost.
