Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. is seeking a Production Operator III to join our Oxford, PA facility.

You will operate automated production equipment, diagnose machinery issues, assist preventive maintenance, and help uphold sanitation standards to ensure product safety and quality. Responsibilities include following the production schedule, maintaining clean work areas, training on metal detectors, documenting process data, and collaborating with a high‑performing team to meet safety rules and GMPs.

Qualifications

• Two (2) or more years of related experience.
• High School diploma or equivalency plus successful completion of a technical certification course (i.e., HVAC, auto maintenance/repair, etc).
• Equivalent military training or 45 college credits may substitute for technical training.

Responsibilities

• Check and adhere to production work schedule for job assignments and work reporting times.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area at all times while on duty.
• Operate facility metal detector(s) with training and certification.
• Comply with safety rules, GMPs and company policies (EEO, Safety, Sarbanes Oxley).
• Complete required documentation and system entries accurately and on time.
• Set up equipment and ensure continuous, efficient flow of materials.
• Verify product quality meets required standards.
• Assist in maintenance and safe operation of equipment.
