Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. is seeking a Production Operator to support all phases of the production process in a facilities environment. The role includes operating automated equipment, diagnosing machinery issues, assisting with preventative maintenance, and ensuring a safe, clean work area.

Qualifications

• Two years related bakery or production experience.
• High school diploma or equivalency.

Responsibilities

• Checks production work schedules for job assignment and work reporting time.
• When job assignment is SCALER/DIVIDER OPERATOR, responsibilities include but are not limited to: checks and maintains production schedule, scales ingredients, loads and operates mixer(s).
• When job assignment is WRAPPING OPERATOR, responsibilities include: checks production schedule and verifies product running order, checks bag types, sets and operates slicer, bagger, and tier equipment, performs quality control inspection.
• When job assignment is PALLETIZER, responsibilities include: checks production schedule, verifies proper program, checks pallets and quantity, performs sanitation and maintenance.
• All employees will be responsible for insuring the quality and safety of every function and all products.
