Job summary

Bimbo Bakeries USA is hiring Production Team Leaders to drive world-class operations on each shift. You will empower teams, coach associates, and ensure throughput, quality, safety, and on-time delivery in a fast-paced bakery environment.

The role emphasizes leadership that aligns with our Operations Excellence Playbook, continuous improvement, and a culture of teamwork across departments while meeting production schedules and cost targets.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-5 years of experience in production, preferably in food processing.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Proficiency with MS Office; Kronos knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Win the shift by ensuring product, equipment, and processes meet quality, efficiency, and safety standards.
• Foster a culture of associate engagement by respecting, including, and empowering all associates.
• Uphold and promote E5 Leadership Behaviors: Embrace the Consumer, Ensure Operational Capabilities, Empower and Involve, Engage and Develop, and ownership.
• Identify issues, assign actions, and follow up to ensure completion; escalate when needed.
• Coach associates toward independent, problem-solving to achieve world-class standards.
• Collaborate across departments to meet production schedules and drive throughput and shipping on time, in full.
• Prepare priorities for the upcoming shift and communicate critical issues to the team.
