Job summary

Too Sweet Cakes is seeking a motivated Production Support team member to join our kitchen in Phoenix. In this part-time role you will help prepare savory dishes, assist with food prep, maintain a clean workspace, and ensure all ingredients are ready for service.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, stays detail-oriented under pressure, and enjoys teamwork. Pay is $17–$18 per hour for 25–30 hours weekly, with eligibility for benefits after 90 days of employment.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen or food prep experience is a plus, but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when restocking or unloading supplies.
• Willingness to perform various kitchen tasks and assist team members as needed.

Responsibilities

• Work efficiently and professionally with teammates to keep kitchen operations running smoothly.
• Stay organized while working quickly and effectively in a busy, high-paced kitchen.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, utensils, equipment, and customer seating areas to the highest hygiene standards.
• Lift and restock supplies, and assist with unloading weekly deliveries to keep the kitchen well-stocked.
• Follow recipes accurately and consistently to ensure quality with every batch.
• Read and interpret order slips, preparing savory dishes as directed with close attention to detail.
• Safely operate kitchen equipment, including mixers, ovens, fryers, and other prep tools.
• Perform light dishwashing and clean your work area after each prep task.
• Wrap, label, and date food items, following FIFO (First In, First Out) rotation practices.
• Support teammates and contribute to a positive, upbeat kitchen environment.
• Take on other kitchen-related duties as assigned by a supervisor or manager.
