Qualifications

• Two or more years experience in all areas of plant production work.
• High School diploma or equivalence; completion of formal management skills training.

Responsibilities

• Directs the operation of shift production, including checking formulas, assigning work tasks, monitoring procedures and schedules to ensure adherence to standards and product safety, legality and quality.
• Instructs production technicians and outsourced labor in care and safe operation of equipment; reviews records and procedures to ensure proper use of time and materials.
• Ensures all equipment is in good operating condition and maintains a safe working environment through enforcement of safety policies.
