Job summary

Aspire Bakeries is seeking a Production Supervisor for our Alsip, IL bakery. You will lead production line operations, drive efficiency and safety, and coordinate resources to meet daily goals.

The role requires 3–4 years of manufacturing leadership, a degree or equivalent experience, and experience with SAP and Excel. You will mentor team members and work with maintenance to ensure continuous improvement in a high-volume food environment.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience).
• 3–4 years of manufacturing experience.
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience in production.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to analyze data and recommend process improvements.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word.
• Experience with ERP systems, e.g., SAP.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production line operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and on-time output.
• Supervise, schedule, and allocate team resources to meet production goals.
• Analyze production performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare and manage production reports, metrics, and data tracking.
• Investigate incidents and drive corrective actions to improve safety and processes.
• Collaborate with maintenance and cross-functional teams to resolve production issues.
• Coach, train, and evaluate team members to drive engagement and performance.
