Job summary

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in all areas of plant production work.
• Completion of AIB Bakery Science Residence Program.
• Completion of formal management skills training.

Responsibilities

• Directs the operation of shift production, including checking formulas, assigning work tasks, and monitoring procedures and schedules to ensure standards.
• Ensures that production technicians and outsourced labor are properly instructed in equipment care and safety.
• Reviews records to ensure proper use of time and materials and conducts product quality inspections.
• Maintains equipment in good operating condition and ensures a safe working environment.
• Plans and adjusts work assignments to cover all phases of production and supports training.
• Maintains adherence to company policies and procedures including safety and attendance.
• Performs other duties as needed to meet production goals.
