Job summary

Security Properties in Indiana is hiring a Scaler for our dough production line. You will weigh and prepare ingredients, follow specified formulas, and ensure product quality and accurate packaging.

The role requires basic math, reading, and the ability to work 8- to 12-hour shifts with overtime as needed. Daily tasks include weighing ingredients, recording lot numbers, and maintaining GMPs while communicating with the next shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic math and reading skills required.
• Ability to measure and read scales and thermometers.
• Work safely on shifts (8–12 hours), weekends and overtime.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Check the schedule to identify ingredients and amounts for scaling during the shift.
• Prepare scales for weighing process and select ingredients for the dough mixture.
• Accurately weigh ingredients per formulas; sift as needed.
• Record shift details, lot numbers, and bag contents.
• Maintain GMPs and communicate changes to next shift.
• Work in close proximity to others and perform housekeeping tasks.
