Job summary

ManpowerGroup is hiring a Bakery Production Associate in Ashland, OH. This entry-level position supports daily manufacturing operations with rotation through multiple production positions to ensure efficient workflows, safety, and high-quality baked goods.

You will inspect products, remove defects, monitor packaging, and help teammates maintain line efficiency. This role offers all shifts, potential overtime, and emphasizes GMP, food safety, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Willingness to rotate tasks and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Inspect products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Remove damaged or defective items and store or dispose appropriately.
• Perform visual packaging inspections for accuracy, seal integrity, and date coding.
• Stack cartons or trays onto pallets using proper patterns.
• Safely operate pallet jacks to move finished goods.
• Assist operators and other staff to maintain line efficiency.
• Clean and maintain equipment and work areas per GMP and housekeeping standards.
• Follow JSAs, plant policies, and food safety procedures.
• Communicate with teammates and leadership for smooth shift transitions.
• Cross-train to support flexibility across production areas.
• Identify and report safety, quality, or productivity issues.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
