Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Bakery Production Associate in Ashland, OH. This entry-level role supports daily manufacturing operations with a rotating set of production tasks across shifts, emphasizing safety, quality, and efficiency.

Training is provided, with opportunities to cross-train and grow within a stable manufacturing environment. Overtime and weekend shifts may be required based on production needs.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and understand English.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Willing to rotate tasks and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Inspect products to ensure quality standards.
• Remove damaged items and dispose of them properly.
• Perform visual checks of packaging for accuracy and date codes.
• Stack cartons onto pallets using correct patterns.
• Operate pallet jacks to move finished goods.
• Assist production staff to maintain line efficiency.
• Maintain equipment and work areas per GMP and housekeeping rules.
• Follow JSAs and food safety procedures.
• Communicate effectively for smooth shift transitions.
• Cross-train to support multiple production areas.
• Identify and report safety, quality, or productivity issues for improvement.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
