Job summary

Palermo's Pizza is seeking a Bakery Supervisor to lead a team of bakery associates on the production floor at our West Milwaukee facility. You will ensure schedules, quality, and safety standards are met while coaching staff and driving continuous improvement.

You will develop employees, address performance and attendance issues with HR, and collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Sanitation to resolve issues and improve performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years of experience leading or supervising employees in a production setting.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily bakery operations to achieve production, quality, and safety targets.
• Coach, develop, and provide feedback to bakery associates.
• Establish clear expectations and reinforce accountability for results.
• Support onboarding, training, and ongoing development of staff.
• Address attendance, behavioral, and performance concerns with Human Resources.
• Monitor staffing levels and coordinate resources to meet operational needs.
• Partner with Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, Sanitation, and other departments to resolve issues and improve performance.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.
