Job summary

Maker's Pride in Grand Rapids, MI, is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee mixing, baking, forming and packaging on scheduled shifts. You will guide a large producing team, ensure GMP/SQF compliance and optimize labor costs while meeting production targets.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of supervisory manufacturing experience (bakery/food), a 2-year business degree, and strong MS Office proficiency; SAP and Kronos experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Two-year college degree in business or equivalent preferred.
• 3–5 years supervisory experience in manufacturing, bakery or food/beverage sectors.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is beneficial.
• Proficient with MS Office; Kronos and SAP experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a large team (20–80 employees per shift) and direct overall performance.
• Coordinate scheduling, training, hiring, and disciplinary actions per policies and laws.
• Implement GMP/SQF compliant practices and ensure safety, quality and efficiency on production lines.
• Monitor material use, waste, and labor costs; optimize processes to minimize expenses.
• Interface with maintenance, quality, and production to meet schedules and product specs.
