Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Tulsa, OK, is seeking team members for bakery production and counter service. You will prepare breads and pastries, decorate cakes, stock items, and ensure friendly, efficient service to customers and Team Members on the floor.

Responsibilities include baking, labeling, recipe development for seasonal offerings, and maintaining clean, safe, and well-stocked bakery modules. Flexible shifts, strong teamwork, and adherence to safety guidelines are essential.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• 8-hour work day: standing/walking 6-8 hours.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to use knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery.

Responsibilities

• Produces quality breads and pastries.
• Produces doughs, mixes, cakes, cookies, breakfast pastries, pies, and bars.
• Performs baking, cooling, wrapping, and labeling of products.
• Stocks dry products.
• Develops new recipes and production techniques to ensure seasonal variance and high productivity.
• Trains production personnel to the highest standards in industry.
• Performs production planning and forecasting for special events and holidays.
• Maintains all production modules in the Datapax system.
• Arrives to work on time, groomed and ready to work; works shifts and attends trainings.
• Provides excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling; answers phones politely.
• Maximizes sales through proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising.
• Follows health, sanitation, and safety procedures and Weights & Measures.
• Maintains clean and safe work environment; maintains equipment.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; ensures pricing accuracy.
• Reports safety hazards and violations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
