Job summary

McKee Foods Corporation is hiring a Process Technician to operate creme lines, capper, and related equipment in the plant. The role covers setup, belt speed control, measurement, and data reporting in the OPM system while maintaining clean, safe work areas.

Expect to contribute to production reports and continuously improve line performance. The position is on third shift (Sun–Thu, 10:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m.) at Plant 2A in Collegedale, TN, with required flexibility for additional shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Willingness to be flexible and perform tasks.
• Self-motivated with initiative and ability to work without supervision.
• Basic math skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and be organized.
• Minor equipment maintenance.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to frequently lift and move 50 lbs and wear steel-toed shoes.
• Basic computer skills and safe working practices.
• Good attendance and safety records.

Responsibilities

• Set-up and operation of the creme and capper and other equipment as needed.
• Setting belt speeds.
• Accurate and continual measuring to ensure product is within specs.
• Accurate consumption of lots and ingredients.
• Accurate reporting in the OPM program.
• Keep work area and equipment clean and orderly; minimize waste.
• Document production reports and data entries.
• Enter measurement data and analyze information.
• Perform other duties as needed.
