Job summary

McKee Foods is seeking a Packaging Operator to join our Collegedale, TN manufacturing team. The packaging Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining packaging machinery to ensure efficient production of McKee Foods products. The operator will set up machines, monitor packaging processes, and troubleshoot any issues to ensure product quality and adherence to safety standards.

We offer a 3rd shift schedule (Sunday-Thursday; 10:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m.) with a shift premium.

Qualifications

• Requires strong organizational skills and high initiative.
• Must be self-motivated with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Requires basic math skills and attention to detail.
• Flexible and able to adapt to change; teamwork essential.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Safety-conscious with good attendance record.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently.
• Willingness to learn basic computer skills and document processes.
• Mechanical aptitude and basic equipment maintenance knowledge.
• Steel-toed slip-resistant safety shoes required.
