Job summary

McKee Foods Corporation in Collegedale, TN seeks a Process Technician to perform crème line operations, set-up, and data reporting to keep products within specification in a busy bakery environment.

The role requires operating and maintaining line equipment, accurate measurement, and recording production data while ensuring safety and quality. The 3rd shift runs Sunday–Thursday, 10:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m., with a competitive wage and clear advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Willingness to be flexible and perform tasks as needed
• Self-motivated with initiative and ability to work without direct supervision
• Basic math skills are required
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and stay organized
• Minor equipment maintenance knowledge
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to frequently lift and move 50 lbs.
• Steel-toed safety shoes required
• Ability to determine cause and effect
• Basic computer skills
• Good work, safety, and attendance records
• Knowledge of personal safety, food safety, product purity, and departmental procedures
• Ability to communicate with management and other departments
• Willingness to start up or shut down lines and train others on equipment

Responsibilities

• Set-up and operate crème and capper and other process equipment
• Accurately measure and ensure product specs
• Document production reports and data in the OPM system
• Enter measurement data and analyze results
• Keep work area and equipment clean; minimize waste
• Perform other duties as needed
• Train and develop others on equipment and line operating functions
